At Subito Health, we offer access to personalized, prescription-only topical hair support options that are developed in collaboration with licensed healthcare providers. These formulations may include ingredients that have been studied for their potential role in supporting scalp health and promoting the appearance of fuller, stronger hair. Final formulations are determined by your provider based on your individual needs and health history.
Each topical solution is carefully considered by a licensed provider. Your treatment plan may include one or more of the following ingredients:
Minoxidil
Commonly used in topical hair support products, minoxidil has been widely studied for its effects on scalp blood flow and follicle health.
Azelaic Acid
An ingredient that may help support a balanced scalp environment by addressing oil and buildup on the skin.
Biotin
A form of vitamin B7, biotin is often included in wellness regimens that aim to support strong hair and nails.
Finasteride (Topical)
Available by prescription, finasteride may be used topically in some hair formulations as determined appropriate by your provider.
Tretinoin
Known for its use in dermatology, tretinoin may help improve absorption of other ingredients and support overall skin turnover on the scalp.
Latanoprost
Originally developed for eye care, this ingredient is being explored for its potential role in supporting fuller-looking hair.

One size doesn’t fit all and every patient is unique. Drug compounding is the process of combining, mixing, or altering ingredients to create a medication tailored to the needs of a patient by a pharmacist as the result of a practitioner’s prescription drug order. While compounded medications are not FDA-approved, they serve an important patient need—especially when FDA-approved medication is not available for treatment. The specific ingredients in your compounded formula will depend on your specific concerns and goals. It should be understood that your personal healthcare practitioner will make the final decision.
